Workplaces
Daytime light environments for offices, studios, and focused indoor work.
Artificial Sunlight Lighting™ technology
A patented lighting platform designed to approximate selected spectral, intensity, and temporal characteristics of natural sunlight indoors.
Precise positioning
Artificial Sunlight Lighting™ does not claim to reproduce the full solar spectrum with laboratory precision. The platform focuses on controllable components that can be practically integrated into indoor lighting systems—particularly visible light and near-infrared radiation.
By coordinating these outputs over time, manufacturers can develop a broader and more biologically informed indoor light environment than conventional visible-only lighting provides.
Technology definition
Dynamic visible light + controlled near-infrared radiation + coordinated sunlight profiles.
The missing spectral layer
NIR is present in natural sunlight but is largely absent from conventional LED lighting. Because it is not visible to the human eye, conventional lighting standards and product specifications generally focus on visible photometric and colorimetric performance.
NIR interacts with skin and tissue differently from visible light and is increasingly studied for its potential physiological relevance. Artificial Sunlight Lighting™ introduces NIR as a controlled and measurable component of the indoor light environment.
The core technology does not depend on ultraviolet radiation. Any future UV implementation would require separate safety, regulatory, and application-specific assessment.
System architecture
The architecture can be adapted to luminaires, lighting modules, architectural systems, and sun-and-sky concepts.
Performance framework
Selected parameters can form the basis of product specifications, calibration, safety assessment, and licensed-model certification.
Potential applications
Daytime light environments for offices, studios, and focused indoor work.
Lighting concepts for classrooms, libraries, and learning environments.
Research-led applications for care facilities and wellness environments.
Dynamic indoor light for homes and long-stay indoor spaces.
